We strive to use our unique and traditonal food and drink to make a cultural impact. Our profits are going into food security and career mentoring programs.
With each sip of our liquid sunshine, you are helping create a rich cultural bridge between West Africa and New England.
Yamacu is ready to take its next big step in establishing a brick and mortar storefront. The purpose of the Yamacu Cafe remains the same; to provide food and drink as a means of community and cultural awareness. Creating an immersive experience through cuisine is a goal of utmost importance to Sali and her team at Yamacu. The establishment of an in-person cafe where supporters can interact with the team, and get to eat our food and drink freshly prepared is needed for the advancement of the company’s brand. The cafe will have all of the Yamacu goodies that supporters have grown to know and love, from chicken yassa to peanut butter stews, as well as all flavors of liquid sunshine, in the form of a take-out only cafe. The cafe will also be home to a rotating seasonal menu of West African fusion food and drink. The proceeds generated from the cafe will continue to go to support Yamacu's projects in Mali as well as providing job opportunities for the people of Boston. Overall, to know Yamacu is to know love. The team at Yamacu are here to spread the genuine love of cuisine, and our passion lies in making sure every meal and drink provided gives its supporters a learning opportunity about the beauty of the Mali and the West African diaspora. Make a contribution today and get back 120% store credits to spend at our future Yamacu Cafe.
